WebJul 31, 2024 · After we finished eating we headed back into the Savage River State Forest. Matt wanted to show me another brook trout stream called Poplar Lick Run. This tributary is north of the reservoir and pours into the Upper Savage River. There was an easy to find parking lot, as this area is also home to a well known hiking trail.
