WebMar 21, 2012 · My central heating header tank keeps overflowing when the boiler (Glow-worm back boiler) is on. I have checked the ball valve and it is working fine, with no leaks. The water is not coming from the expansion pipe (I put some tissue in and it remained dry) I can only assume it is coming back up from the feed to the boiler.
