WebJul 25, 2024 · There are quite a few BLM campgrounds along this stretch of river, by Tuesday morning there were open spots in all but Goose Island. If you arrive in the early AM mid week you should have time to shop around and find some shady spots. I miss judged the path of the sun at Big Bend and we cooked in the afternoon. More.
