WebGrading System- (Applies to El Paso ISD and Ysleta ISD ONLY) Numerical scores are used in determining student academic achievement and are used to report to parents. All districts in Texas use a numerical scale of 0 – 100. A grade of 70 is the minimum for a student to pass a course and be awarded credit. WebGrades are also checked at the end of each nine week grading period. Students who pass remain eligible until the end of the next grading period. A student who receives, at the end of any grading period (after the first six weeks of the school year), a grade below 70 in any class (other than an identified class
