WebUCLA CE vs. Berkeley EECS I've been admitted to the Computer Engineering major at UCLA and the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science major at UC Berkeley, and I am torn between the two. The RSF is packed in the morning, from 12-2 and from 5-7:30, it has an AC system that can't keep up with peak flow, doesn't allow Olympic lifting, a set of dumbells that tops out below 150lbs. and has terrible machines. I’ve been looking at both profiles extensively. WebI feel like Berkeley had more resources than UCLA does. The gym is bigger and less crowded, and it’s a beautiful campus. Lots of hills and views and nature nearby (popular hikes - the fire trails, less than a mile from campus). If you don’t have a car, getting around in Berkeley is ok!! In LA, less so.
