WebJan 14, 2024 · I wanted to build a team around Gengar with screens so that I could setup Nasty Plot easily. +2 Gengar hits like a truck and since you aren't choice locked like the majority of Gengars (which are usually Specs or Scarf), you are able to use different moves without being forced to switch out (obviously after you use Trick). WebDec 7, 2024 · Haunter/Gengar: Shadow Ball, Thunderbolt, Giga Drain, Sludge Bomb-Use Haunter if you can't trade. It's a fine Pokemon, but Gengar is just incredible. Shadow Ball and SLudge Bomb are STAB. WHile you likely won't be using Sludge Bomb often, SHadow Ball is very useful against the Alakazam line. Thunderbolt and Giga Drain are coverage.
